Precision electroejaculation probe for large mammal research. Probe features a polymer shell over a PVC frame with integrated transverse copper electrodes and a SAE power connector. Probe head diameter: 75 mm.
The 75MM3CT probe was originally developed for use in Sumatran rhinoceros and is well suited to similarly sized large mammals. Its curved geometry and spherical head are designed to support controlled positioning and consistent response during electroejaculation procedures.
The body of the probe is formed from a smooth, contoured polymer shell built over a curved, hollow PVC internal frame, reducing weight while maintaining structural integrity. At the probe head, three transverse copper electrodes are exposed across the spherical surface and connect to internal wiring that runs the length of the device.
A foolproof SAE connector provides secure, uninterrupted power delivery in demanding field conditions. The probe is waterproof to the connector interface and constructed for repeated use in both field and clinical environments.
