5 mm microprobe set

Small Mammal EEJ Microprobes
Model 5MM2 — Four-design set

Precision electroejaculation microprobes for small mammal research. Each probe features a polymer shell over a stainless steel shaft with integrated copper electrodes and a 2.1 mm power connector. Probe head diameter: 5 mm.

Developed for exploratory work in very small mammals, the 5MM2 microprobe set allows researchers to evaluate internal contact positioning in situations where optimal placement has not yet been established. Each set includes four probe geometries, enabling direct comparison of positioning and physiological response across configurations.

Construction emphasizes both control and durability. Each probe is formed with a smooth, contoured polymer exterior over a stainless steel internal shaft, supporting consistent insertion and long-term structural integrity. The set is divided evenly between longitudinal and transverse electrode orientations, with each available in both straight and curved formats. In all cases, copper electrodes are exposed at the probe head and continue internally along the probe body.

Each unit is fitted with a 2.1 mm center pin jack for dependable power delivery. The probes are waterproof to the connector interface and designed to withstand repeated use in both field and clinical environments.
